Neon Outline Cardi - Downloadable Chunky Knitting Pattern
The KNIT SAFARI Neon Outline Cardi is an big and cosy, chunky knit cardigan with patch pockets, designed to highlight the seams which we usually try to hide! Throw it on with loungewear as an oversized knit housecoat for a comfy night in front of the TV. Not a fan of the neon edging? Not a problem! Skip this step of the knitting pattern and sew your cardigan together the normal way, or use a matching shade of yarn for a subtle finish.
The Neon Outline Cardi is knitted in flat panels, that are seamed with a crochet hook on the right side to create a spine effect. The sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round to reduce bulk, and then the neckline trim is worked at the end for a professional finish. Finally, some additional contrast stitching is crocheted around the edges to finish off your DIY knitted cardigan.
FIT:
The Neon Outline Cardi is an oversized fit. You may wish to knit a smaller size for a closer fit.
The adult model is a UK size 10-12 and is wearing the Neon Outline Cardi in size medium.
