Entwine Slipover - Downloadable Crochet Pattern
The KNIT SAFARI Entwine Slipover is a modern spin on a sleeveless vest, with a strong linear effect created by crocheting into either the back or front loop only. Wear it alone in Summer, or throw on over a crisp white shirt when the temperature plummets.
This DIY crochet pattern includes two options: either with holes to lace up with ribbon, or without holes to sew up. I love the flash of skin that the lace up version gives, and made my own sheer black chiffon ribbon.
FIT: The Entwine Slipover is a relaxed fit. You may wish to knit a smaller size for a closer fit.
The adult model is a UK size 10-12 and is wearing the Entwine Slipover in size medium.
SIZES: Adults from XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL (30-60” Bust)
YARN: 447 (483, 556, 631, 711, 797, 900, 989, 1085) metres of Cotton Aran yarn with approx 8-10 wraps per inch, equivalent to approximately 6 (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) x50g balls of yarn (yarn estimates are approximate.)
We used 7 balls of Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in Granite Grey for the size medium.
Can't find this yarn near you, or not sure if the yarn in your stash will work? We always recommend that you knit a test swatch to check your gauge before starting out, and finding the right combination of hook size and type and yarn to match the gauge in the pattern.
